Amy Garrett has been a licensed massage therapist since 2009. She received her initial training through the 500hr program at Texas Healing Arts Institute. Wanting to deepen her knowledge and expand upon her techniques, she continued with the 220hr Clinical Massage Program at the Lauterstein-Conway School in 2010. This program included structural bodywork, deep massage, Zero Balancing, and shiatsu. Amy’s sessions are a mixture on relaxation, deep massage, trigger point, and myofascial release. Sessions usually include stretching and muscle re-education. Amy encourages clients to consider their chronic postures and muscle overuse and how this may contribute to their pain. Together they decide on a treatment plan that provides the most lasting pain relief. Her goal is to help individuals help themselves to better health and a more profound quality of life.Amy believes that it is an honor to be a body worker and is constantly amazed by the bodies’ ability to heal itself. Amy is committed to providing the highest quality of care to her clients.
