Melanie Pellman, owner/therapist of Heeling Hands in Austin, TX, has always been a proponent of a healthy lifestyle. Her goal for all her clients is to encourage the body’s natural ability to heal itself by spending time and patience needed for each individual, after all healing is a process.
Certified in a wide range of modalities including: Ashiatsu, Lymphatic Drainage, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Swedish Massage, Melanie believes in using different styles of massage along with stretching to help her clients recover from injuries, increase range of motion, pain management and achieve any fitness goals the client is working towards.
As a child Melanie played all sorts of sports which led her to eventually receive her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin University and then went on to earn her Licensed Massage therapist certification from Lauterstein and Conway.
She is very passionate about her work and continues to expand her knowledge in body work by keeping up with the latest massage techniques. This intrinsic motivation along with her extensive training in the science of human movement ensures the highest quality of care for her clients.
When Melanie isn’t pursuing her passion in body work, she enjoys reading, cooking, working in her garden, hanging out with her friends and any activity outdoors.
